As part of the PARLA Female Students Scholarship & Development Program, initiated by NEQSOL Holding in partnership with Education Development Fund, a special Mentor Camp was successfully organized with the support of NEQSOL Academy and hosted by Women in Tech Azerbaijan.
The two-day camp took place at the inspiring Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory, where 20 talented young women and five experienced mentors came together in an environment designed to encourage reflection, growth, and meaningful connection.
Throughout the two days, participants engaged in collaborative group sessions and individualized mentoring conversations that supported both personal and professional development. The camp created a space where students explored their ambitions, reflected on their strengths, and developed clearer visions for their future careers. Through guided activities and discussions, participants strengthened their confidence and gained practical insights to support their academic and professional journeys.
The training component of the camp addressed essential life and career skills, including Financial Literacy and Budget Management as well as Startups and Project Financing. These sessions provided participants with practical knowledge to better understand financial decision-making and the fundamentals of transforming ideas into sustainable projects.
This immersive experience demonstrated the powerful outcomes that emerge when mentorship, knowledge, and opportunity come together. The Mentor Camp once again reinforced the belief that when talented young women are supported through structured guidance and exposure, they gain the confidence and resilience needed to become future leaders.
Through initiatives like the PARLA Mentor Camp, NEQSOL Holding continues to invest in the growth of young women who will shape the future as professionals, innovators, and changemakers across STEM fields and beyond.
