PARLA Participants Strengthen Digital Skills Through Hands-On ICT Training Ahead of International Girls in ICT Day
NEQSOL Academy, in collaboration with Peerstack Academy, successfully delivered a two-day hands-on training program aimed at strengthening essential digital skills for participants of the “PARLA” Scholarship and Development Program.
The training was organized on the eve of International Girls in ICT Day, reinforcing the importance of equipping young women with practical digital competencies and confidence to navigate an increasingly technology-driven world.
On the first day, participants explored the fundamentals of the Windows operating system and gained practical experience in system formatting. The session was designed to build confidence in managing basic technical tasks independently and to strengthen participants’ foundational IT literacy.
The second day focused on the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence. Participants were introduced to practical applications of AI tools and learned how these technologies can be leveraged to enhance learning, productivity, and creativity while maintaining a strong understanding of ethical and responsible usage.
The “PARLA” Scholarship and Development Program, initiated by NEQSOL Holding in partnership with Təhsilin İnkişafı Fondu (Education Development Fund), continues to support outstanding female university students through scholarships, internships, and structured mentoring opportunities designed to foster both academic and professional growth.
